Broken Skull Goblins

Broken Skull Goblins are relentless soldiers that cleave to rigid tactics and orders. Aggressive, vindictive, and ambitious, with a natural inclination toward hierarchies and social order. Though their strongholds are often sloppily constructed, they are extremely tenacious in their defense.   Generally civilized, they are clever, strong, and disciplined with perhaps a tendency to cruelty. Their intelligence and strength, as well as their organizational skills make them the natural leaders of the goblinoid races. The Broken Skull goblins have a keen crafting sense and are expert weapon and armor smiths.   Broken Skulls tribes combine their love of warfare with keen intellects. The science of siege engines, alchemy, and complex feats of engineering fascinate most Broken Skulls, and those who are particularly skilled are treated as heroes and invariably secure high-ranking positions in the tribe. Slaves with analytical minds are quite valued, and as such raids on dwarven cities are commonplace.   For all the violent and destructive tendencies, their society is a true meritocracy, albeit a hard and dangerous one for those who fail to prove their worth. Broken Skulls have a code of honor. Its details vary from legion to legion, but it's always brutal. All Broken Skulls, regardless of age, gender, or pedigree, are granted exactly as much respect and authority as they earn through their martial prowess.   Although the Broken Skulls can build lasting settlements and a stable culture – they simply believe it's easier and more efficient to force those weaker than themselves to tend to their needs.   Magic: Broken Skull Goblins are warriors by nature and prefer martial combatants to those who draw on magic. Those few spellcasters who were to be found are expected to work well with soldiers.
