Icespire

Icespire is a wintery kingdom in the northwest corner of Fairlight . It is considered the absolute capital of the region, the king and queen of Fairlight reign here, along with any children they may have. The palace sits along the mountain-ridden shore, decorated with ice and snow. For three out of the four seasons, Icespire is coated in snow, be it for the fourth, summer, where it’s people enjoy a very brief and temporary period of warm weather. Icespire specializes in enchantment magic, and allows its citizens to openly practice the art in their everyday life. Their magic guild, The League of Diamond, trains young users to become competent in the power of enchantment. Because of this, their citizens are very grateful to the throne, and whoever sits upon it. They are fiercely loyal, and some even believe the throne should reign over, not just Fairlight, but all of Asendra. The royal family is strict, with very high standards for their blood; heir’s must be of the royal family, and anybody who marries into it must be pure Icesperean blood, or “clean”, as they would put it. The royal’s and noble’s wear late 18th century inspired wear, primarily in the area of dresses and gowns. Light blue or white is used as a primary color, along with brief spots of tan or beige. As for masculine wear, this would typically include tight blazers with a cloak or a cape over the right or left side of the shoulder. If it’s on the right, it symbolizes being exclusive with someone, or being taken, while the left would represent someone single. High collars for men are typical as well, along with rings to symbolize status and ranking. Normal citizens typically wear a shirt, a vest over, along with pants leading down to boots. The main export of Icespire is…well, ice! Nowhere else in Asendra has ice at such an abundant amount, and people across the realm pay much for even just a little bit of it. This is part of the reason Icespire remains so wealthy. Their fishing industry is also a large one. Given Onryx's Sea Serpent problem, it’s the only way to get sea fish out into the greater asendra area.
