Ancient Lauri Supercontinent

Lauri was the supercontinent that broke apart into the continents of Aseavria and Stomholna. The separation began over two (2) million years ago and took around one million years to stabilize to the current day landmasses.   Prior to the separation, the supercontinent had a different shape compared to the two continents it spawned. The Freyspian Peninsula, Lashelia Peninsula, and Numunzarian Peninsula were all connected as a single sub-continent on the north side of Lauri. Stomholna broke off from the area between the Zesipian sub-continent, the Tellutaner isthmus, and the Irgoshen sub-continent.   Zesipian archeologists named the supercontinent Lauri from the Zesipian words « lar » and « æri », meaning "origin-land".
