Astral Extractions

Astral Extractions is a powerful mining conglomerate with business ties throughout many of the CTP Worlds. Most of the company’s operations are centered in other systems, but it has also begun sending scout vessels into the Valissia in search of new claims. The public face of Astral Extractions is that of an ethical and respectable corporation, but outside of the public eye, some say the company uses hired muscle—corporate mercenaries, strikebreakers, and even criminal elements—as proxies to intimidate and threaten those who stand in its way.
Unlike the Hardscrabble collective, Astral Extractions has focused more on moon and planet based mining operations. They have less equipment suitable for zero-g, and instead bring in heavier equipment and set up bio-controlled facilities to mine on the surface. While Ipsilon Station is not suited to the largest frigates and cargo vessels that are necessary to house their ships, they often recruit agents out of Ipsilon or use it as a stopping point for personnel.
