Elves

It is told that it was the Elves, that in distant, ancient times raised the Steudadoù Karnag - the great stones at Carnac - and other sites to harness the magic of the land to aid in their wars against Dwarves and men.
They held and fought for aeons, but in the end it was men, with their farms, domesticated animals, copper and bronze that claimed the land, tore down much of the old forest and drove the Elves to extinction.
Though long departed from this world, the blood of the Elves runs strong in some families, most notably, the ruling noble line of Leon.
