Bedroll
A bedroll is a padded sack that allows a person to sleep while traveling in the wilderness by keeping them dry and warm. Bedrolls are generally sized to fit medium or smaller humanoids. Bedrolls range in quality from thin sleeves for a person to sleep inside of, to sturdy, waterproof, leather affairs lined with fur or wool.
Bedrolls, being designed for travel, often feature straps so that the bedroll can be rolled up close and tied into a tight bundle. Blankets are often used to help maintain warmth and provide a cushion against the ground.
Bedrolls vary by climate. Those in desert regions are often designed to close completely to keep out sand and dust. Those in colder regions feature thick linings for insulation. In the underdark bedrolls often feature straps that allow them to be attached to cave walls or sloped floors.
