The widely accepted universal trade language of the Current Era. Common was originally used exclusively by humans and derives from Elvish. The human kingdoms were the first to gain independence, and as a result, Common spread quickly and became the de facto trade language as non-magical races eagerly rejected the trappings of their former Ocularium masters, including the use of High Common.
