The Mail Tower

The tower was constructed to hold the mailing dragons when they're not busy and to manage and send them in their directions. 

Today it functions the exact same way despite looking a bit different and being a couple of times bigger. Being one of the tallest buildings on Terra with its 320m minus the coned top, the entirety of the tower actually includes 13 underground floors for the bigger dragons and for organizing bigger cargo loads to send all over the worlds.

Despite the modern day technologies - phones and tablets - the regular letter mail is an important element to communication within Terra and the main means of communicating through bigger distances in Forice. For carrying letters around the dragons trained are between 3 years old and 12 years old - the bigger are moved into departments different than communication. The small ones are fast and they get bonus "adorable" points and extra treats from customers for the job well-done.

Tourism

The Tower is one of the main tourist attractions in the capital city of each country. Whenever they visit the town, people would go there looking for the friendliest free dragon to take pictures with and will go around the find a roof to climb (and be chased out of, if they get there without permission) in order to see how amazing the sunset or sunrise looks when the dragons fly out /come back. There has been cases - and it's a popular thing to do when you can't sleep - of tourists getting on top of their hotel/motel/tavern rooftop and laying there looking at the starry night sky and try to see a dragon on a longer delivery route pass by.

This behaviour is encouraged by the fact that those towers offer limited edition stamps, small albums with stickers of the best dragon mailers for the youngest and bigger interesting books for the older -  dragon encyclopedias  & similarly themed.

The Tower was in construction for 50 years because of its size and the time necessary to enchant the space inside to fit everything necessary as well as provide space for the mailing dragons to gather up and be given their tasks, to be equipped or unloaded and to be treated for a job well done when they return.
