Faster than any other

In a world such as the Forice/Terra/multidimensional system where there is one central main planet that extends strings to other ones and to other worlds and connects them together, that one main world provides means to a lot of its subordinates. Forice - before anything else - is a world of dragons. Not a world where dragons are hated, hunted and killed like most old-fashioned fantasy, nope. It's a world of teamworking with the dragons, caring for them and training them to help the peoples in ways that only they can.

When talking about delivery - any kind of delivery over long distances - sure, men can imagine trains, planes, cars or magically propelled capsule-pods running around...but all of those are slower and less agile than a dragon can be. Dragons are specially trained to get used to carefully carrying objects tied to them - they start teaching them to do that from a very young age. Then slowly the objects become many and the need for speed increases.

The mailing system being mainly "By Dragon" is the thing of Forice and Terra only (currently). It's been created since before the groups moved to Terra went there and they were used to that way of receiving letters and anything else. Nowadays dragons of every size and shape can apply to be mailing dragons and they'll be assigned to deliver goods - near and far, and they'd get paid for that in treasure, treats and a LOT of free-time pampering.

Armor and defense

In order to protect any and all cargo they carry, the dragons (while having their own physical armor with their scales) have magical armor collars that they wear when on the job. These collars create an invisible shield that adapts its size with the shape and size of the cargo packed on top of the dragon and provide an additional support so that the cargo doesn't fall over and it also gives fire resistant, grab resistant (as in no other dragon, creature of bird can get close enough to grab anything) and overall just like an extra layer of protection on top, covering the cargo from every side other than the bottom where the dragon is.
