Tharcans (TAR-KAN-S)
Thark is the human city of the grassy plains in South Forice. It is located at the foot of the Hatalla mountain and if you're coming down from the mountain into it it would be the only inhabited place you see before the green ocean engulfs you and leads you across the terrain, across the map to the shores on the farthest eastern point of the continent.
Thark is known as the land of horses and horse-riders. Every single tharcan child starts learning how to ride a horse even before it can walk or talk. The horses tharcans grow and breed are different kinds and used for different purposes: there's long-haired horses used for the hairs which can be woven into fabric (replacing the need of sheep horses bred especially to give milk; ones bred for riding in battle and even Helltains are raised by the Tharcans and used by them to selectively burn off plots of the grassland for the needs of farming or if traps need to be set.

Culture
Common Dress code
Tharcan men usually wear short white tunics and combine them with pants that were often tight-fit. They usually would walk around in ankle-high sandals but when travelling or entering battle would change those with tall boots. Men would wear furry hats often made from fox, wolf or luxatte fur.
Women wear longer tunics most of the time - in the everyday wear - combined with long flowy skirt and sandals or closed-off shoes. When women entered a battle they were covered head-to-toe in red clothing, covering them completely and leaving just a small window for the eyes. The female battle wear includes crimson dragon back-armor, leather belts and animal-shaped skull helmet.
Most of the soft clothing for the Tharcans is made from hemp or linen.

Art & Architecture
The buildings in Thark are all ground-level, single floor and made from stone, clay and wood. They lack the complexity and sophistication of more visually-oriented cultures and instead bet on practical with big open spaces indoors, flat or low-slope roofs and web glass windows.
Decorations - when present - are mostly geometrical and portray the people hunting or growing produce. In more fancy pieces of art either the King or Queen will be shown practicing Earth-related magic - as the Thark people are associated with Earth as element and can perform Earth magic.
Tharcan art is mostly expressed in pottery and carpet - and curtain weaving. As symbols within it one can most often find circles - for the sun; squares - for the earth and horses - lots of horses in different sizes and forms.
