Tytolcad (ˈtī-ˌtōl-kad)
Wisdom comes from time and suffering. They have no more time.
Harrowed by a vicious cataclysm, the modern tytolcad is a farcry from the demanding and foreboding presence of a licastrian. Perhaps, in their search for a new home, they can understand all is equal against chaos.
Physical Description: Slim strigine avians, the tytolcad are the descendents of the tyrannical licastrians. Primarily resembling humanoid barn owls, they have massive wings and a set of arms, unlike corvinachi, their limbs are completely featherless and thin, resulting in very stick-like limbs that a tytolcad will often feel embararessment over due to the strange silhouette it provides them. They have pitch black, reflective glossy eyes with a variety of patterns for their feathers but often a fluffy white face, most of their plumage being in their immense wings which tytolcads use to seem more foreboding. As they dislike showing their limbs, they will often wear dresses, robes, cloaks, and other attire that hides their body the most.
Society: Tytolcads lack any form of society, as a desperate few descendants of Licastria, and lack a need to interact with other tytolcads due to gaining asexual reproduction.
Relations: Tytolcads are a mix of weary, anxious, and dismissive of other people, knowing they have no choice but to seek help from others to continue survival throughout the world. Living within the brigandine among others who have long since learned coexistence makes them feel inadequate for their lack of innate understanding of how to do so. This most often results in a singular individual within communities a tytolcad has ended up stuck in to be their primary source of social interaction and their liaison to the community when incapable of directly communicating, a set up that often makes the tytolcad ashamed due to viewing it as similar to having a servant all while wishing to not be like their progenitors.
Beliefs and Religion: Tytolcads were often not one to pray or seek help from the divine. Recent times have shown a more somber, desperate side of tytolcads, often beginning to opt into prayer towards gods of knowledge, renewal, rebirth, and salvation as more and more start to become consumed by the anxieties of losing licastria and being unable to properly acclimatize to living within the brigandine. Most tytolcads leans towards orderly beliefs and views.
Adventurers: Tytolcads do not like travel and are adverse to being far from their safe haven. The rare tytolcad that does become an adventurer is often in a precarious position of being abandoned by its fellow travellers due to their rude and demeaning nature, even when trying to be friendly. Despite this, they are powerful wielders of the arcane and are a boon in any group willing to work with them and help them learn how to interact with the world properly.

- Size: Tytolcad are Medium creatures and thus have no bonuses or penalties due to their size.
- Base Speed: Tytolcad have a base speed of 30 feet and a fly speed of 60 feet with average maneuverability.

- Nocturnal: Tytolcad gain a +2 racial bonus on Perception and Stealth checks at night.
- Self-Control: Tytolcad receive a +4 racial bonus on saving throws against fear and emotion effects.
- Darkvision: Tytolcad have darkvision and so can see perfectly in the dark up to 60 feet.
- Low-Light Vision: Tytolcad can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.
- Spell-like Ability: Tytolcads can use suggestion once per day as a spell-like ability. The caster level for this ability equals the tytolcad’s class level. When a tytolcad reaches 9th level in any combination of classes, they gain dominate person once per day as a spell-like ability. The caster level for this ability equals the tytolcad’s class level.
- Pride: Tytolcads take a –2 penalty on Diplomacy checks and Sense Motive checks involving creatures that have threatened, accused, or challenged them until the creature apologizes to the tytolcad.
