Tuatha (ˈt̪ˠuə(hə))
Hidden in the trees and brush are curious eyes.
These small fey fly throughout the woods and feywilds, hiding among the flora and bushes with ease, and defending it and the animals of the realm with equal fervor.
Physical Description: The small tuatha are humanoid-looking fey with plant hued skin, wings and hair made of wood, flowers, or plant matter. Often, the tuatha display features belonging specifically to one plant, such as flowery cherry blossom hair and wings, or prickly pines. The eyes of the tuatha often mirror that of the animals they relate with the most, with no real limitation on what animal that could be. They often wear a mix of normal cloth clothing and plants as their clothing, often to both blend in to their surroundings and to help accentuate their own natural plant features.
Society: Tuatha normally reside on their own when in malbaar, living one with nature and providing assistance to all creatures they meet. As such most tuatha could be considered helpful hermits. In truth, tuatha love interaction and normally live in large groups back in the feywilds and intermingle heavily with other fey. Tuatha often have a heavy focus on nurturing plant life of all kinds and avoiding causing harm to the creatures that live with nature. Tuatha often live in homes scrounged together from natural plants and scraps, leaving their home naturally camouflaged.
Relations: Tuatha often get along with most others, though can be disappointed by those who have particular disinterest towards nature and animals. The most interesting of relations seen by those looking in is their relationship with their larger, stronger counterparts, the tuatha de, who are direct extensions of the will of the fey courts. Subservient to the tuatha de, the knightly fey often give commands and and quests to their smaller compatriots using the authority of the fey courts to enforce their will upon them. The relationship between the two seems friendly and amicable but causes distress to mortals who witness a tuatha de treat one of their friends like a servant. However, there has been tales of the tension between the two fey due to the tuatha de's bleak outlook and treatment of mortals compared to the small tuatha's friendly curiousity and desire to form friendships.
Alignment and Religion: As fey, the the tuatha obey the fey courts of elvikeim above all else, subject to its orders and law without exception even if they do not dwell within the lands of the feywild; though some do have the time and space necessary to acknowledge nature gods. As helpful and curious fey, most tuatha are usually of the chaotic good alignment, but can be of any alignment. This is in contrast to their superiors, the tuatha de.
Adventurers: Tuatha are generally very curious, whimsical, and and willing to defend those they care about without hesitation, and some do find themselves joining with others to explore the world. Those that do fulfill a wide variety of roles, but primarily make great rogues or hunters.
