Light Domain
The second element of the eight spheres, light. The first to fill the absence that darkness resided alone in, seeking out all that it shines upon and revealing it for all to see. It is said that before all else, everything was only a swirling torrent of dark and light and even now the presence of both remains everywhere, determining what is and is not perceived.
Granted Powers
Those who choose this domain receive the following powers:
- Blinding Flash (Su): As a standard action, you can emit a flash of light from your holy symbol or divine focus. The most powerful light emanates out 20 feet from you. Creatures with fewer Hit Dice than your cleric level within this area are blinded for 1d4 rounds unless they succeed at a Fortitude save. All creatures in this area are dazzled for a number of rounds equal to 1/2 your cleric level (minimum 1). You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier
- Light Weapon (Su): At 8th level, you can create a light weapon in a free hand as a move action. This can take the form of any weapon with which you are proficient. You can have only one light weapon in existence at a time; creating a new light weapon causes an existing light weapon to vanish. The light weapon acts as a magic weapon with a +1 enhancement bonus; this bonus increases by 1 for every 3 levels you have beyond 8th, to a maximum enhancement bonus of +5 at 20th level.
At 12th level, you can create (and maintain) two light weapons at a time as a move action; if you do, each weapon has an enhancement bonus 1 lower than normal. If you create only one weapon, it gains the radiant weapon special ability.
At 16th level, your light weapons each gain their full enhancement bonus if you create two weapons. If you create only one light weapon, it gains the radiant burst weapon special ability.
