Society: Chao Wei possess no centralized place to call their home, wandering the world instead to make family with mercenary groups and warbands for hire. Despite this they do display an odd calmness interacting with other chao wei even when they lack any familiarity with each other.
Relations: Feared as the most vicious and merciless of warriors during war, the chao wei's inherent knack for coming up with awful and apathetic paths to victory makes them disliked by many and particularly despised by the alin, who view their treatment of war and conflict as completely at odds with their own. The chao wei show no fondness for the alin or their own views of honour and heroism in war either, leading the two to often fight on sight.
Beliefs and Religion: Beloved are the war gods of the world, brigandine or otherwise, by the chao wei. They view their unnatural life cycles as something to overcome through trial and despise gods who view life and death as sacred, spiting them. Chao Wei who feel differently are rare and few in the world, but even then its hard to say if what they think is any safer for those around them.
Adventurers: As natural born troublemakers and vagabonds, chao wei can be considered both a immense boon to be fielded by any group while also a curse of suffering their appetite for conflict and instigation. But for those who suffer them, they make amazing strategists and warriors, preferring to be up close and personal with those they are striking down. But woe to those who meet one who has gained an interest in more indirect means of inflicting suffering.
