Bristlbain (ˈbri-səl-bān)

Amends are sought, and now the warbound live in peace.

Formerly wartorn, vicious raiders, seen as one of the rivals to some of original orc lords when the world was breaking. The bristlbain now live in need of peace and quiet, they're aggressive personalities mended by nature and the morning sun, forever seeking to enjoy the long fought peace.   Physical Description: Bristlbain primarily resemble bipedal boars, appearing as relatively bulky, pig headed, and covered in fur. Their fur can often be a variety of colours, most often shades of browns and grays, the top of their head often ends in a mane of longer darker fur. Their feet end in two big toes and are digitigrade. Both males and females possess sizable tusks from the sides of their mouths that curve upwards and can vary in colour, commonly between tans and whites, but can appear as dark ebony colours. The colour of their eyes is most commonly black with little variance but rarely, some bristlbain are known to have white eyes, but regardless of the colour, their eyes are still very beady and show little sign of which direction they look. Their body's bulk and muscle mass usually results in an aggressive hunch for bristlbain and provide the bristlbain allow them to better run and sprint.

Society: Modern bristlbain society is normally that of isolated hermit clans who live in isolated areas, preferring to be people of the land and graze tropical islands. Originally warriors who were massacred and culled during the dark war era. The efforts of the war have left most of them desiring quieter lives in which they live outside of most metropolitan cultures in druidic societies. In the past, they were marauding nomadic warbands who would often rip villages apart to splinters, and many still possess that inner ability.   Relations: Bristlbain do maintain relations, though they prefer to not live within central towns most of the time, are respected by dwarves, who appreciate having a race as hard headed and focused on long lasting peace like them. However, they are often taunted and ridiculed by dergerians, orcs, and northerners for a variety of reasons. Dergerians hate them for their inability to defend themselves on their own during the dark war, while orcs have a longstanding rivalry, and northerners see their more peaceful modern lifestyles as an insult for a species built for war.   Alignment and Religion: Bristlbain primarily choose to worship gods whose domains would offer them safety, and have little preference for worship of gods whose domains could be considered a luxury to worry about, despite this, they still focus worship within the conglomerate's pantheon. As former warbands, bristlbain lean towards chaotic alignments.   Adventurers: While most bristlbain would be exhausted of the idea of taking up a life of adventure and combat, most still have the power of their ancestors in them necessary to go on such journeys. Bristlbain that do make amazing frontliners, shamans, druids, and witch doctors. Being able to be in tune with the nature they have long since lived in peace with.
