Hibari Bao-Shen (a.k.a. Sugar Drop)

The high energy and ditsy member of Astra Nova's Mandalay House. A girl of hidden talents, she is a very capable fighter and much stronger and sturdier than she seems. The only thing more massive than her love of friends is her love of food. She is known for regularly snacking and munching on goodies throughout the day, even during missions and exercises, yet she seems to somehow keep her figure. If not eating food, she likely will talk about it, and faces lot's of challenges with a spirited energy that lot's of other students have come to find either inspiring or worrying. She's a bit of a clingy girl when it comes to her friends, and a bit dull when it comes to being self aware, but she does her best, and will come through for a friend no matter what. She is one of only a select few students who do not employ any weapons at all, instead relying on her own bodily abilities and martial arts. Her style is notably unpredictable and and unorthodox, yet she uses it to great effect, sometimes using it to her advantage to catch opponents off guard. She swears by the claim snacks are the fuel of her power.

Physical Description

Body Features

Hibari is a tad on the shorter side, but not by much, with soft form and physique that covers up a deceptively strong and sturdy body. Her hair is a shiny silver and she has a small tattoo upon her left shoulderblade the size of a large coin which consists of the tianshao kanji for "Bear Star" referring to one of the tianshao major constellations in the Isle of Mist's cosmological practices.

Apparel & Accessories

Hibari, both in school and out, favors very similar clothing styles. While on campus, she totes the Spark Set of Mandalay's uniform, unfastened and open, with a black tank top underneath and either black leggings or a skirt depending on her classes and activities.

Outside of school, she will trade in her school jacket for an open hoodie of her own. She typiscally keeps her hair tied into two short ponytails with dark colored ribbons.

Personal history

Hibari is the child of two Tianshao natives, though she has little memory of them, losing them to disease whilst only a toddler. She was however taken in by her godfather, a beast folk panda whom was a close family friend of her parents. Her new caretaker graciously took her into his home in Ars and did all he could as a single parent to raise her. She lived a modest life, but one filled with encouragement and care, developing a love of cooking as well as eating thanks to the skills of her godfather, and later learned the basics of what would eventually become her own offshoot style of her godfather's techniques, based on using weight and momentum to their full advantage. At some point, she decided to take on Astra Nova's ranks and was accepted into the school, now trying to find her way as a hero. The exact reason she's so devoted to this line of work is rarely discussed by her.
