Axellus Fandango (a.k.a. Red Diamond)

One part showman, one part Sonnungr student. Despite his age, he has the making for a talented performer, but hero work is his aspiring goal at Astra Nova. He's known for being theatrical and devil-may-care, with a fashion sense that is not the orthodox of valiant heroes in the making. He has a tendency to treat every quest as a chance to put on a new show or refine a new trick. Sure, it's well and good to save lives and do good, but what is all that worth if you run yourself dry without any fun and finesse. He great at grabbing attention, and his risk vs. reward battle style is efficient

Personal history

It's known to the faculty of Astra Nova that Axl is not just any normal teenager. Whilst his peers simply have his appearance and attitude to set him apart from the rest, Headmaster Hawthorne and the rest of the Blue Flame Council know that Axl is a blackblooded child from the crushing grips of Mourne. An only child escaping the city and making his way to Ars as a babe along with his mother, he found himself alone soon afterwards after his mother succumbed to a disease contracted from the brutal experimentation enacted on the both of them. Living in an orphanage as a toddler, he was adopted by a cunning and wealthy high roller who was unable to have a child himself. Living with his father, and occasionally finding care and admiration from the ladies and lovers who strode through his father's penthouse, he grew to pick up much from his father, including how to hold himself with an air of dignity, individuality, and showmanship. It's not known when he decided the hero life was for him, but he's made great efforts and large goals in his pursuits at Astra Nova.
