Gauss Pistol

The smaller cousin of the Gauss Rifle, the Gauss Pistol is a standard sidearm of peacekeepers, law enforcers, militias and soldiers across the galaxy. Much like the Gauss Rifle, this pistol utilises electromagnetic coils to accelerate small steel slugs to supersonic velocities, though the weapon's smaller size gives it less range and stopping power per shot, and the recoil can be hard to manage. The Gauss Pistol's coils are powered by a small self-charging battery, allowing for use away from any useful power sources.
