FEL Rifle

A portable Free-Electron Laser (FEL), as bulky as a heavy laser but only marginally more powerful than a standard Laser Rifle, what sets this weapon apart from similar weapons is its versatility. The main draw of a FEL is that the light beam wavelength can be finely tuned for specific situations. The high power draw requires a Generator Pack for the weapon to function, but it doesn't suffer from the same over-heating problems of other similar powered or similar sized lasers.
