31 years after the opening of the Dark Portal

The Ars Magica guild was founded shortly after the destruction wrought upon Azeroth by The Worldbreaker, Deathwing. Though the leadership and methodology have changed over time the organization's goal of making the world a better, nicer place for all remains firmly in tact. Once a closed and secretive operation, the guild is now open to members of all professions and aptitudes so long as they remain true to the central tenets.
