Beneath the surface, the Ragar Sound hides a labyrinth of underwater caverns and tunnels, home to a diverse array of aquatic life. Some of these creatures are benign, such as the luminescent fish that illuminate the darkness, while others are downright dangerous. Giant squids, with tentacles as long as ships, are known to attack vessels, dragging them to the depths. And lurking in the darkest corners of the underwater caverns, the elusive kraken, a monstrous cephalopod of immense size and power, is said to dwell.
Navigation within the Ragar Sound is a perilous undertaking. The lack of reliable landmarks and the ever-changing currents make it easy for ships to lose their way. To aid in navigation, sailors rely on the stars, the moon, and the occasional lighthouse. However, even these aids can be unreliable, as the fog can obscure the sky and the lighthouses may be shrouded in darkness.
