There is little known about the deity Var. The only mentions of it come from rare encounters with Varyn explorers. With no known populations of Varyn and the few that are encountered being secretive, there is much mystery about this being. Those familiar with the old gods of Aroka have been unable to place it as one of the old gods with a new name, leaving many to speculate that it must be a new one that arrived on Aroka with the Varyn.

Another peculiarity of Var is that Varyn will often speak inconsistently about its nature. Some will refer to Var as their god while others speak of it more as a leader or elder. Some seem to actually be referring to themselves or some sort of collective being when speaking of Var. These varying accounts have left many questions as to the nature of this being and what to think of its followers.
