Hedgewall

The Hedgewall is a massive wall of dense trees, thick moss, and thorny vines that protects the entire border of Ohedyn from the rest of Sonata. As the nation has expanded its borders, the Hedgewall has expanded with it, creepy across the landscape at the will of the most skilled Puresouls of Ohedyn. Entire communities live on both sides of this impressive structure, either nurturing or defending their portion of the wall from generation to generation depending of which side of the wall they live. The villages on the outside of the wall are the closest thin Ohedyn has to a military and those that prove themselves in defending the Hedgewall are often recruited to serve their nation by maintaining security of their port cities as well as traveling to Okanu, being stationed in either Okar or Amyhra.
