Floodswamps, Okanu

At the height of the Great Tides, water from the Yova Bay overflows into the Floodswamps to the west. When the tides recede, the water remains and stagnates, creating a murky swamp home to some of the more vile predators of Okanu. Those that dare to venture into the swamp speak of muddy water you can't see or feel the bottom off instead of ground and a tangle of dense, grimy vines veiling disturbing shapes slinking through the mire. As you venture deeper, the situation is worsened by a clinging mist that limits your vision to no more than a few meters, making it far too easy to get lost. Few that venture this deep into the swamps return, but those that do speak of horrific creatures and "walking corpses". What exactly lives in this misty bog is known only to those that get close enough to one to find out, paying for such knowledge with their lives.
