Chokevine

Only the keenest of eyes can differentiate between a regular vine and a Chokevine when they are motionless. Sensitive to vibrations, including sound, they wait for unsuspecting prey to pass by close enough for grab a hold of a begin dragging towards its roots. Constricting its prey the whole way, it incapacitates them and them buries them int its roots to be slowly digested. Though the vines themselves are relatively easy to kill, the roots themselves are deep and very resilient. Only copious amounts of acid or flammable liquids can seep into the ground and destroy the roots.
