Arcane Laboratory

The Arcane Laboratory was founded shortly after Amyhra as the official Consortium effort to understand the mysteries of the universe. Practitioners of magic, whether it be from a mystical, naturalistic, or scientific standpoint, were all welcome to come and collaborate in this mountainside monument to discovery. For years, this project yielded great understanding of the nature of the world, the spirit, and how the energies of the universe could be harnessed. Cogys, especially, captured much of this knowledge in their inventions, allowing it to be outsourced to the people of the Consortium. However, this all came to an end when a massive explosion, remembered as the Mageblast, shook Okanu, causing half of the laboratory to crumble down the mountainside above Amyhra. Tendrils of magical energy and bizarre weather patterns as well as haunting echoes still surround the ruins, warding off anyone that seeks to uncover what happened that fateful day. Nearly all that survived have gone mad or have perished from unusual ailments. Similar fates have been encountered by those that venture into the ruins.
Still very visible on the mountainside above Amyhra, it is a warning to those that practice magic, supporting the strict regulation of its use throughout the Consortium.
