Amyhran River
The Amyhran River flows from Cliffpass , the only passage through the Okanu mountain range. After navigating the precarious cliffside roads, travelers can use personal rafts or barges to make the rest of the journey to Amyhra . The river flows into the city and is joined by the Yova river from the west, splitting the city into its three major districts. Their combined force creates a powerful current the flows over the southeastern cliff-edge of the city and down into the Yova Bay. Atop this waterfall is a true feat of Cogys engineering: the Rushfall. Immense chains pulleys, gears, and waterwheels harness the force of the current to power the elevators that effortlessly carry supplies from the Floatdocks below to the city. During winter, when the sea levels are at their lowest, these elevators need to lift large amounts of goods and personnel up to 17 meters of sheer cliff. During the summers when the elevators don't have near as far to travel, the captured energy is used to wind the Coil gearboxes that serve as mechanical batteries and provide portable power throughout the city.
