Barnabus Asher

A human mage and member of the Southport Mages' guild. He was an expert on the great below and its denizens, and sent the group into Edwin Stearns' tower to steal the ritual to reverse ceremorphosis. He performed the ritual after the group returned with the living flesh of a kraken and cured Dox.
Barnabus also found a buyer for the sea elf tablets, and acted as intermediary for the mysterious benefactor funding the mistlands expedition. He later published the findings from the expedition along with Gaerald Murray, and became famous among Sydonian scholars.
