Arkonite

Arkonite is widely regarded as one of, if not the, most valuable and sought after metal on Arkos. It is famed for its extreme durability, and is vehemently sought after by the elite for its use in weapons and armor. Despite its name, most believe that Arkonite is not native to the planet Arkos. A popular theory was that it arrived thousands of years ago via meteroites impacting the planet's surface. There are even some that believed the metal to have divine origination.
Both theories are correct in a sense. In actuality, Arkonite is the soldified blood of a world's anima. The planets of the mortal realm are themselves living things, and each has its own Anima. Arkonite is a result of the worlds' "bleeding", with the leftover material soldifying and creating the immensely rare biometal.
Often possessing a yellow sheen with a glittering blue center, the metal weighs about the same as processed steel. While it is incredibly valuable and sought after, there are very few who have mastered the ability to craft with it. Even long practicing dwarven smiths often refuse to work with the metal, believing they will not do the material the justice it deserves.
