Nivach
The coldest and oldest of all Eawun kingdoms, Nivach is one of the three powerhouses of the world. Ruled by the same Monarchy for the last 1,000 years, Nivach has yet to see anything other than a wealthy life.
The northern half of the kingdom is in winter for most of the year, and a cool summer for a few months. The countryside is split by imposing mountains, cliffs, and canyons, and is covered in lush tall forests of evergreen.
In the first Golden Millennium the north was divided among the Nivaklan clans, nomadic tribes of dark elf, minotaur, goliath, half orc, and gnomish warriors, who were in a constant state of war. Until a dark elf by the name Elkhaiz, the leader of the northernmost clan Kendivlen, united the clans under the Nivakla banner.
Much blood was shed during the unity wars, but the Kendivlens' skill in battle and diplomacy successfully convinced the other clans to join them.
Now known as Nivach, the Kingdom of the North, their banner has never once wavered.

The Current Age
The north was not affected by The Great Holy War as much as the rest of the world, and they are also not directly affected by the growing Black Sky. In fact, due to the damage around the world, Nivach has been more wealthy than ever, as their borders contain valuable supplies.
Nivach is fully united under one monarch, their word is law, and their desires are the desires of the people.
The current leader is one Xolin Veleik, commonly referred to as the Wolf of Biannath, who was crowned following the death of his uncle the late King Liorn Kendivlen. Xolin travels often to see his people, but he spends most of his time in the capitol.
Biannath is a city of white stone and sparkling ice and glass, cradled between the Svenalten Mountains and hugging the lake of quartz. History is rich and well taught in the capitol, and it is home to many prestigious schools and temples. Like any large city, the poor district is on the outskirts, mostly made up of refugees and immigrants; however, the middle and upper classes outweigh the poor 100 to 1. There is much work to be found in Biannath, and all people are payed from the Monarch himself.
The area surrounding Biannath is a cold and dangerous place. The treacherous Svenalten mountains and large evergreen forests are home to many beasts, and one misstep can send you down their icy slopes. The only known safe passage into or out of Biannath is the Kings Road, a long winding road constantly guarded and patrolled by Nivachan soldiers, which leads to the rich gold mines of Roslachik.
Roslachik is a growing city. Gold was discovered there 200 years ago, but the wars put a hold on mining. Now, in peace, many people are moving there to take part in the wealth. The mines of Roslachik are incredibly dangerous, and the miners there are constantly weary of avalanches and cave ins. Not to mention the numerous natural caverns that great threats make their homes.
Continuing through the mountains, another mining town makes its home on their eastern peaks. Svenalten Ridge, one of the original mines of Nivach, has been dwindling. The mines that were once dripping in precious gems, now sits mostly clear. For the past hundred years only the truly loyal miners have stayed, convinced that there is another fountain of jewels trapped somewhere in the surrounding mountains, but with lack of funds and lack of hands their search is much too slow.
South west, through the evergreen forests and to the side of the Gold Leaf Cliffs, sits the tiered city of Oktyasha. Oktyasha is the second largest city in Nivach, and because of the dangers of traveling to Biannath, Oktyasha functions as a secondary capital.
The tip of the northern ice flats is home to few people, and most live in Isca, an outpost which monitors the northern waters and The Mountain of Mist.
East of the Svenalten Mountains, and South of the Ice Flats sits Chedovo, the only true port city in Nivach. They carry trade across Vorona Bay to the Endonian City State Fang Haven.
Culture
Nivach is an isolated kingdom due to its topography, and their culture reflects that. They are a very proud nationalistic people, and their culture is rooted in family and community. Nivach is a nation of warriors and scholars who are fierce in their defense of their neighbors.

Foreign Relations
While Nivach is one of the worlds superpowers, Nivach is a semi isolationist kingdom. They maintain both trade and peace treaties with The Endonian Empire and Tasique, but their government does not leave their borders (or allow other governments into their borders) unless necessary.
Agriculture & Industry
Industry is booming in Nivach due to the abundance of rich mines, and a history of war. The capital of Biannath is said to be a world of its own, due to their industrial advancement.
Agriculture is present but not abundant. Most of their produce comes from greenhouses, or is imported from The Endonian Empire.
