The society of wise chaos

A ways off of the southeast coast of Anicarta lies a large island with a cluster a smaller islands, called Gilcoln Chain. Cilcoln Chain is run by a ruling class and has emperor or empress, it is called the Drovia Dynasty. With in this dynasty there is an organization called The Society of Wise Chaos. The main job of this organization is to protect the people from threats. One of these threats is a huge secret about the ruling family.
To fully understand let’s go back to when the Drovia Dynasty was young. The Society of Wise Chaos was started by 12 young boys and girls of the upper class. When if first started it was just a fun little group that hung out and caused chaos to the locals and some of the upper class. The emperor at the time did not mind the group as they had not broken any laws. Soon however, the whole Gilcoln Chain was thrown into chaos. A young power hungry magic user who was determined to take over and rule the Gilcoln Chain. This magic user was able to convince an upper class family to rebel against the emperor and other families starting a war between one family and the rest of the upper class. After a short series of battles they were successful at removing the emperor. The magic user ruled from behind the scenes. However, it quickly became apparent that neither were fit to rule but the people were unsure of what steps to take. Here is when this Society of Wise Chaos changed from being just a group of young boys and girls causing chaos to a fully organization determined get back the rule to the emperor. They quickly pulled the displaced families together and fought back. In doing this they were able to defeat the one family and the magic user. The one family was torn apart, the children fighting against the parents and magic user. The father was killed in a battle while the mother was taken captive and lived the rest of her days in captivity. The emperor was restored.
This is what the people are told. What really happened is this group found an ancient hidden temple. In this temple they found out about these magical beings that they could work with. They with a contract combined with a person and gave them more power. Four of the Society of the Wise Chaos contracted with these beings. Two boys and two girls. With this the battled and were able to defeat the magic user. Only the emperor and his family and those of the Society of Wise Chaos know of these creatures. The Society of Wise Chaos works hard to keep the people from finding out this secret as it would cause a lot of trouble.
The Society of Wise Chaos has grown and the process of being coming apart of it is very tough and once you are you can not tell anyone that you are. If you do you are immediately disbanded and silenced.
