Survirors of Life

In the center of Anicarta, there is a kingdom called Zeocia. In this kingdom, there is an organization called Survivors of Life. This organization is geared toward the youth both boys and girls. The ages are ten to twenty. Survivors of Life’s goal is to help the next generation to have the skills to thrive and enjoy life. Survivors of Life run camps that teach and give a feel for different professions. It also teaches different life and survivor skills. Some of the professions are historians, naturalists, and different jobs with magic. Between the ages of 10 and 15, they do all different things. As they get to be 15 to 20 they start to specialize. At each age, there are different awards that the kids can work towards and earn. The highest and hardest award is the Mysterious Hawk Award. Only about one-third of the youth earn this award.
How Survivors of Life organizes itself is first off there are leaders and teachers. The leaders and teachers are adults, many times ones that were Survivors of Life when they were young. The leaders are in charge of chapters of boys or girls. The chapters can be as big as 150 to as small as 2. A city, town, or village can have more than one chapter depending on how many are in the group. There are at least four leaders in each chapter, with parents filling a few other roles that help run the chapter smoothly. Within the chapter, the youth are also put into groups. These groups are called classes. Each class is then split into two called par-cal. There is a youth that is the head class, they are the one that is in charge of the whole class. Next, there is an Assistant head who is second in charge of the class. Then each par-cal has a head and assistant head. These par-cal work as a group on things and then many times the whole class does things together. The classes are a mix of ages. Next, the teachers are adults that travel or set up camps for the youth to do and learn at. Survivors of Life have rules in place to protect the kids and adults. One of the biggest things that they do is encourage the kids to invite friends. This is one of the biggest things that they do. It is also how they grow bigger.
