Sespese

Sespese is a dark green stone with light green mineral streaks running through it. Sespese can be found sparsely all over the world. However, the best and highest-known concentration of Sespese is found on the west coast of Anicarta. Sespese is found deep within the cliffside and in hills near the sea. Davasori is a city located in Anicarta. In this city is where all the sespese is gathered and rated before being shipped to other continents and places in Anicarta. Davasori is located near the only natural harbor on the west coast of Anicarta. It also has a large concentration in the nearby hills of Sespese.
There are two mining companies on Anicarta that mine Sespese. The method that they use is to tunnel into the cliffside or hill. Seams of Sespese mostly run horizontally to the sea before oddly making a ninety-degree angle down. The conditions can be very dangerous. Some of those dangers are the tunnels spontaneity filled with sea or groundwater. Hitting another tunnel and collapsing or having a build-up of toxic gases. Because of this many mining companies will employ magic users as a safety measure.
The uses for Sespese depend on the quality of it. The most common is the low—quality type. This low-quality sespese is mostly the light green streaks with the dark green holding it together. It is used as fuel by burning it in furnaces. The leftover dark green material is gathered, turned into a paste, and used as a dye or ink. The mid-quality sespese is used by magic users as a magical component or enhancement. For example, healers used sespese as an enhancement or amplifier in their spells. Lastly, the high-quality sespese which has very little light green veining is rare. It is also used to power different land and water vessels.
