Arian'diel

Before the existence of this realm and time itself, there were four great beings who roamed the never ending/eternal seas (space). These beings were known by many names, but as with most stories, their names were lost throughout the ages. It is said that there are not many left who know their true names but as a collective they are known as the old ones.   One was the great dragon, Iarae, who fancied itself the best of all the beings. Another was the fierce and arrogant tiger, Jorasil, constantly proving and asserting its force over the others especially the dragon who thought itself better. The remaining beings were the gentle and wise turtle Yaos, who was constantly mediating between the two; and the phoenix Hektia, a truly free-spirited entity that did not pay any mind to either Iarae's or Jorasil's antics, but only focused on its own progress and accomplishments. The phoenix they say is the embodiment of true eternal life; for when it withers and dies, crumbling into ash, it is born anew from its own death, stronger, wiser, and better than before.   It is said that for eons the four beings coexisted, keeping each other company in their own ways. As expected, the dragon and tiger were constantly arguing with Yaos trying to mediate and Hektia always remaining neutral. With each passing time, it was noticed that Jorasil became more violent towards Iarae and eventually to the other two as well; for it could not stand the narcissistic nature of the dragon nor the other two's unwillingness to see it or take its side.
