The Waxing

The Waxing is the beginning of the new year, and is a time of solemn celebration and welcome. The Waxing is holy to Rai’lo, Estahm, and Daurn. It is commonly believed that any ill done during the Waxing will return upon it’s perpetrator four-fold in the new year; and “omens” occurring during this period are felt to auger some of the nature of the coming year. This is a time of beginnings. The sign associated with the waxing is Lunaris.
