Great Spirit

The Great Spirits are the gods of modern-day Ariam. Once they were the primary servants of the 12 triune Prime Spirits, and each of the Great Spirits is aligned with one of the three faces of one of these most ancient and puissant powers. The Great Spirits number 36. They are divided into three factions of 12 spirits each. Two of these factions are considered more or less benevolent, seeking to nurture the world and its inhabitants, but the third faction is bent upon the destruction of the world.

This faction of spirits is primarily focused on the nurture and protection of the natural world and its inhabitants.
