Festival of the Twelve Dances

Ahmak 3 is the day of the Festival of the Twelve Dances, and is holy to Ral and Silyafel. On this day, formal, sanctified dances—often performed by people specially trained for the task—are held periodically throughout the day, beginning at dawn and ending at midnight. Each dance has a special meaning and significance, and in large cities the dances are sometimes performed by priests. The dances may vary somewhat from region to region.
