Banishing Day

On this day, holy to the Spirit Tempest, the Great Banishing of the Twelve is commemorated. Some also remember the role the Spirits played in freeing the inheritor-races from the dominance of the elder races. It is not considered a festival, though it is recognized as a time when people should give thanks to the Spirits for all that they have done; especially for their freedom both from the ancient Kindred and from the twelve ancient powers who almost destroyed the world with their fighting. Judgments or sentencing passed on this day that involve banishing, exile, or anything similar, are considered particularly apt and powerful on this day—and one should be certain they are just before speaking them.
