The Twelve

There are twelve celestial beings that exist in Arhor'ha. All of the have a responsibility and represent he lawful order of it. In the current era, they are largely quiet and have an agreement only to intervene when absolutely necessary in order to grant the moral races the free will to live their lives the way they want. When that free will becomes catastrophic, the agreement is they will intervene. What is deemed 'catastrophic' has some room for interpretation and as of late that has become more and more taxing with Gig around. Paulo is the representative for these 12 entities and both helps keep the criteria for 'catastrophic' from happening, educating the 12, and staying out of people's way whenever possible. Unlike the dragons, who are returning to mainstay existence in recent decades, who are at their best benevolent kings and at their worse conquestial tyrants, the celestial entities are there to be judgemental fucks about specific things: Knowledge. War. Emotion. Hunting. To name a few. Every one of the 12 has a book which gives them a form in Arhor'ha. The first to come across these books conceptualized them as members of the 12 Zodiacs. So Aries, the celestial responsible for might and war, exists now and creates weapons of destruction. He purged Freeport along with other divine entities. When these 12 come to Arhor'ha, they are affected by the agency of those that live there. In some cases, this is good, such as with Pisces and granting wonderous life and emotion to many non traditional things. In others it is bad, such as Capra and Gemini, who both became mad by schisms in their ideology. Or just 'different' such as Aquarius splitting into 3 entities to protect the burden of knowledge consolidating into one form. The 12 are hidden divine forces and they are often found working with other divines, such as Tempus, Lathander, Selune, or Sune. However all of the 12 hold one diety in highest regard above all else: Celestian.
