Shopping for Uniforms

-== New Scene: Cap and Rolf go SHOPPING!!! New Haven Markets ==-   As Syn fishes pointing in the general direction of the tavern; Rolf takes in a deep breath and listens. The sound of merchants selling their wares, coins being exchanged, and deals being struck.   Rolf felt very out of place in the wilds full of death and suffering; but the market was a familiar, almost homey, place for Rolf. It wasn't that the markets were any less dangerous, often having much more cunning predators and well hidden traps, but it was comfortable. It was a song and dance completed hundreds of times and watched thousands.   The art of the deal was something taught to him very young; the only skill he posses that was praised by his father.   His simple pre sale meditative breathing was interrupted by Captios seeking to join in the shopping. It was a welcome addition as he had grown found and close to Captios over the previous weeks. He owed them a lot and knew that Captios' memory and vast knowledge could prove invaluable in negotiations. Rolf lets out a small smirk knowing the deck was stacked in his favor. "Hey cap, where did you want to go first? I have some stuff Id like to sell to a few specialized buyers. Do you have anything you are looking to unload?"   Rolf motions to his lumpy pack. Nearly overflowing with various curiosities picked up over the past few weeks.   "This should provide us with some seed money needed to increase our odds of success."   Captios furrows his brow, thinking for a minute. "We need, for one thing, abjurative and restorative capabilities that are now gone without Solus and Alexa around. I'm honestly not sure in this case what we want. I'd say pick up some elixirs if possible."   All of a sudden the wizard's eyes light up. "New outfits! We should get matching outfits! I know it sounds crazy, but back in Crystallis those that could afford it would get matching uniforms while playing whatever sports were popular. I never got to partake, but given we are a team, we might as well look the part!"   "In terms of stuff to sell, yea I've got some interesting stuff, but if you don't mind I'd like to keep it in reserve for bartering reasons. It's a bunch of stuff from Jacob's vault that I think we could use at some point in the future. Where do you want to start?"   Looking down at his once nice robes fills Rolf with a new desire...fashion! Captios' words ring true. Getting some new clothes would be a good start.   "What a amazing Idea! New clothes are must. Maybe we can get some light weight breathable fiber for them."   The excitement building in his voice.   "Let me sell some of my goods and we can go find a tailor. I still have a few family connections; there is a reputable whole seller, Shelly, who I have a feeling will be interested in some of my items. We could also go visit my Geographer buddy Sven. He has his own print shop in the lower market."   Rolf and Captios leave down toward the market. Stalls litter the streets selling all sorts of various wares. Armor, weapons, jewels. As they are walking down the path there is a magical curiosities stall that peeks Rolfs interest.   "Once we get some gold Captios; let's stop there."   Rolf points towards a stall smoking with burning incenses.   "We can probably find some rare components and maybe even a spell scroll or two. Can you think of anything we might need in particular though?"   "Yes! When Robin left she took all the rare spell components with her. So unfortunate. You never really met her, she bounced back to upper crystallis like the upper crystallian she is. Classic upper crystallian. That's why I like you Rolf. You came from a good family and good money but you don't wear it like all my classmates did."   Thinking for a second, Captios ponders what they might want from Sven. He silently messages Rolf. "Do you think your buddy would have any old maps of where the dawn forges are located? Syn may not remember the exact location but she might remember if we get into the area. She's great out in the wilderness and might just be able to subconsciously guide us to them if we get close. We may also want to pay for a portal over to the area that the forges are. Just a thought. A lot running through my head."   "Thank you Captios, your words come from your heart and mean a lot to me." Rolf says with a smile.   "I doubt we would be able to find a map to the dawnforges. Maybe if we had bargained with Jacob Whyte but that's not some easy to find map. A portal would be well worth the cost if just to save time and put some distance. Distance is probably safety at this point..."   Rolf and Captios make their way to Sven first. His shop is large, mostly wood, and a bit run down. It's inventory is still immaculate. Intricate designs, high gloss paper, impressive fine inks. As Rolf and Sven catch up and replenish Rolfs map making supplies. Sven is astonished that Rolf happens to have such detailed and intricate air routes. Rolf is able to get a large Sum of Gold (1200 pieces) for his air maps, and maps of the swamp lands surrounding Byles lair, as well as the roads taken by Rolf when traveling with Lancyte.   As Rolf and Captios Leave Sven for Shelly's warehouse they are able to get some rations, water pouches, survival gear, tinder, and other traveling goods.   Shelly's warehouse is massive. Full of fine goods boxed up and ready to ship. A stream of Wagons are busy coming and going. Shelly is at the center ordering around her employees as if they were in the middle of a war with the Skill that would even rival Ty Targarius.   As pleasantries are exchanged Rolf puts on a masterful performance to be able to Sell the masterwork bow, studded leather, and his vials of serpent venom. The total haul is 2300 gold pieces bringing up his daily haul to 3500 gold. A fine sum to better prepare for their impending adventure. Rolf can't help but keep note that his Compass keeps pointing directly toward the Inn where Syn, Ozy, and Gig are waiting. It keeps worrying Rolf because those three could easily cause a lot of trouble. Though Rolf has untilate Trust in Syn to be able to handle those; she is probably the only one able to.   After the business with Shelly is finished Rolf turns to Captios' and asks:   "So Cap, where to first? The tailor, maybe the apothecary, or even the Magical equipment stall from earlier? We have some time to kill and I'd like to maximize our prepatory time."
