Crystal Fellowship (Season 6): A Requested Conquest

Still tense form his meeting with Xander, Faelor sits on the ground inside the medical tent. Pulling out the scroll that he received from Xander Fae starts to read it over. The stress within him can be felt in the room as he reads the call to action from his queen.   He is heard before he is seen. The sound of metallic scales sings against chain links. The ground that thrums of drums when the weight of a goliath hits it. The shadow that casts against the tent before Ty draws it back. One hand holds the stone that Io once held as the commander looks to Faelor in the otherwise empty tent.   "We need to talk," the dragonborn says as he continues inside. If he notices the stress of the eldarin, then he doesn't speak of it. Nor the scroll that is as mysterious as the warlock himself.   hesitating for a moment Faelor puts his newly-acquired scroll away into his pouch before looking up at the beast of a man that stands in the now crowded tent "Well good evening Ty Targarius." Pushing his messy braids out of his face "Is this about how I treated the tree elf under your command?"   "Xander?" Ty responds with gruff tone. Its to wonder if he has other tones. Like gruff-happy or gruff-discontent. Gruff-discontent doesn't sound pleasant. "No. He stands on his own two feet or not at all." The dragonborn says nothing as his violet eyes lock down on the fey blooded elf. An uncomfortable silence.   A snort of air has a frosty chill to it that causes the vapor to mist up around him. "This is about you and where your mission takes you," he continues as his silvery braids whip behind his shoulders at a turn of the head. "I don't suffer half-measures and empty words. If you want to go forward its a choice you make for yourself. Not others for you. Every man and woman under my command gets that choice." Eyes flick to a shadow against one end of the tent. Soldiers walking by. "I want to know where you stand on this conquest."   Staring directly into the dragonborns eyes "Well sir at this point I have nowhere else to go but forward with you" "Where is our Conquest taking us"   upon sobering up (if getting drunk is still a possibility) Faron would approach Ty and ask in which direction he should go if he wanted to learn about warding/binding magic.   Ty notices the expression of question from Faron. No easy feat. In truth the two stare at each other for at least a minute before he understands the short sentences of what the ranger wants. "Warding and Binding would be the work of the elves and Bart." It takes a moment for him to realize that Bart is no longer with them anymore. It is not the actual event, but the small events after when you realize something is truly gone. "The Elves . Xander, if he will talk to you. Skye, if you are feeling bold."   "I think I may take my chances with Skye, she seems more personable than Xander.... thank you by the way, I patched together that you attempted to get Demon's Bane back from Poppy. I appreciate the gesture..." Faron looks slightly uncomfortable expressing emotions and hesitates before continuing "... I also am sorry for your loss. It seems like Bart was a good man, and I know what losing a close one feels like." Faron continues to look slightly uncomfortable "If I may offer some advice from what I have learned over my past life. Don't try and suppress it; the pain, loss, heartache. Instead nurse it, put it towards something productive. I'm slowly learning that withdrawal can be a bad thing which will keep you up all night. I've watched people forget others sooner than they'd want to be forgotten. And in order to deal with all those emotions people..." Faron looks like he can't think of a proper term "... remove a part of themselves, which only means they have less to offer in the future." Faron appears genuinely remorseful "Because before you know it it's too late. Because you have been living like you have two lives to live... and then you realize the truth... that you don't and all those things you never said, did, or felt... maybe they could have made a difference..." Faron stares at the ground for a second, then turns tail and leaves Faron takes a minute outside to get some fresh air and feel the breeze on his face. He collects himself and then heads to the alcohol tent where he last saw Skye   [If Skye is present]   “Hello Skye, Ty told me that you could maybe assist me in understanding warding/binding magic? I am just a ranger with knowledge of basic nature magic and this isn’t exactly my forte… and Ty said you are one of THE people to see about it. If you had a bit of time at some point to talk to me about it I would be deeply appreciative. I can even make sure you never see the bottom of your wine goblet.” Faron looks slightly nervous, its like talking to the hot girl in school, but all the while Faron attempting to look collected
