Vortor

The One True God of Argilia. May His light shine upon all. Yes, Praise Him.
Vortor came to Argilia to end the Ascension Wars. He fell to Argilia, as a fully-formed adult man, from the Aether to protect the people and save them from the ambitions of the Old Gods.
His presence made the Twenty (Old Gods) leave Argilia for good. People no longer had to live in fear of petty retribution or collateral damage from the whims of childish deities and their squabbles. And, as a result, peace was brought to the land.
Vortors light illuminated the folly of ancient beliefs and gave the realm the freedom it deserved. Vortor sees all from his place in the Aether Realms.
Followers of Vortor await the day of his returen to Argilia. Though He longs to walk among His children once more, in a supreme act of justice, fairness, benevolence and selfless service to all mortal beings - He is subject to His own ruling: "Argilia shall be a realm free from the influence of any and all immortal touch."
