The religious organization following the pantheon of
the Founding Dragons.
Of course, there are many different interpretations that exist, but these are the interpretations that most people would follow.
Hesjing has the most followers, due to the widespread nature of Humans. But many Humans worship more than one Founder.
The Argeth concept of "Hell" is more akin to exile instead of torture. The idea is that those who lead awful lives are banished beyond the stars.
Alternatively, there is the fear of being seized by the darkness of the shadow, and having your soul be consumed by the False Founder.
Every Founder has an associated direction.
- North/up is Thrae
- South/down is Ixen
- West/left is Edar
- East/right is Hesjing
Thrae and Ixen are generally considered to be female.
Edar and Hesjing are generally considered to be male.

Most worship of the founders is done through prayer or small offerings. Aside from the undivided worship the individual founders have their own dedicated prayers and methods of offering.
General worship is done throughout the year, with worshippers going to the temples as they please. On the first day of every month, a ceremony is held where the priests recite the tenets and tales of the founders while leading prayers and performing larger offerings.
Prayers to the Founders
Many known prayers are used by various worshippers. Some are used in daily worship, others only for special ceremonies. A dedicated worshipper would know them by heart.
A gift is given
Giving Founders, your powers are shared.
The gift you have given has brought us our lives.
I thank you all for the gift you shared.
United as one
United Founders, your powers are shared.
Together you created all we feel, hear, and see.
With each passing day, I grow ever more thankful.
Until we too, are united as one.
Under the overarching faith of the founding dragons, there are multiple sects that dedicate themselves to the individual founders. These sects are not generally seen as separate from the overarching faith, and many worshippers belong to multiple sects. Only in very rare cases do sect temples not also have a shrine dedicated to the founders as a whole.
