Mortamor

Overview

As the capital city of the Herculanii Federation, many expect Mortamor to tower like the other capitals that dot the world of Argenia. They are disappointed to instead find a large town sized settlement with a medium sized port, and while much wealth trades hands there, it is not the citizens of the city that benefit. Most of the wealth flows into the other clans, with little trickling up via taxes. As such the capital city stands with little money for expansion or proper defenses, especially after its ruler and his family takes their share of the tax profits.
