Far-East

Overview

While smaller and less glorious than its sister port of Westsmith, Far-East makes almost as much money for the Edge Federation. Some consider it to be the actual capital, but no central government functions are handled here. The city itself simply acts as the main resupply point for ships travelling around the south-eastern side of the continent. Many nobles have ensured that no other ports open up nearby, funnelling every ship through Far-East, where the city is free to charge higher than normal prices for supplies, goods, docking fees, and repairs. The city does boast a significant smuggler presence as well, for those seeking cheaper prices at the risk of their rights to dock in the future.
