Dwarven Empire conquers the Shield Lands

Under the direct generalship of the dwarven God-Emperor himself, the Legions conquer the petty kingdoms around Aldoon in one campaign season. The realms of Eos and Icatia are next, and they are conquered handily in another two seasons. The Port of Orliac was under siege for those concurrent years, and finally surrenders when Victor Magnus secures Mercadia in another two years. Abenton and Lyria hold out until they are exhausted, and the rest of the civilized realms short of the Steppes and the Garden either surrender peacefully or are conquered by dwarven sweat and steel.   On the 21st day of Midsummer, the Port of Adia surrenders under a Black Sun that heralds disaster for the western world.   It is said that a Veiled Sun rises the very next morning.
