Queendom of Tedriya

Directly to the east of the Empire there exists the Queendom of Tedriya (Elder Tsedric: uKarʂaat Ḥuʈ̂iqaya, uKarʂaat uṬiiɖay), also known as Free Tsedria. A Tsedric nation united to resist Imperial subjugation.

Structure

Tedriya is a absolute, elective monarchy. The monarch, known as the "Matriarch", is elected by a council of queens and noble families known as the Court and is always female. The noble families are descendants of Queen Ḥawʈ̂iqa's daughters, the eldest daughter of each of Ḥawʈ̂iqa's five husbands would form their own dynasties. The land is divided into three regions governed by a "Queen", the head of one of the royal families. These regions are derived from the ancient confederation of queendoms.
