General Summary

The Keeper's Lullaby

We approached the First Keeper, Sorrel Velmara, her powerful lullaby overwhelming. Dulb was immediately knocked off his feet, succumbing to its haunting melody. Warby and Goq took decisive action, flanking towards their ethereally shackled companions—Frostbulb and Crown. Goq skillfully employed the Phantom Key to release Frostbulb, while Warby resonated one of Crown's feathers with the chains binding him, causing the bindings to shatter through harmonious disruption.

A Brutal Encounter

With Frostbulb and Crown free, our focus turned wholly to the First Keeper. Yet, she was far from defenseless—unleashing a massive black scorpion and a monstrous Benthic worm upon us. Chaos ensued, the battlefield echoing with shrieks, roars, and the chilling lullaby that relentlessly assailed our minds.
Through fierce struggle, we managed a devastating blow upon Sorrel, momentarily restoring a flicker of sanity to her haunted eyes. However, amidst the turmoil, Dulb pressed on relentlessly, oblivious to the deadly strike poised behind him. In an instant, the scorpion's stinger pierced his heart, and Dulb fell.

Collapse and Escape

There was no time to mourn or deliberate—Sorrel's defeat had triggered the Sanctuary's collapse. Goq heroically pulled Dulb's body from the maw of the Black Scorpion, and we swiftly fled to two portals that appeared: one leading back to Hearthglen, the other opening into a mysterious starry expanse. Driven by instinct and urgency, we chose the starry veil, carrying Dulb's lifeless form. Chungle, true to form, grabbed Dulb's sword, Storm Flash, before following us through.

The Twilight Conflux

Emerging from the planar traversal, we found ourselves upon the Twilight Conflux, a celestial plateau where gods converged. Before us stood Mordos, Selenthe, Zephyros, and Xythera, engaged in deep discourse. Noticing Dulb's body, Mordos, with what seemed genuine concern, swiftly restored him to life—marking Dulb's third escape from death.
The gods offered crucial insights: Melkorion had entered Jarak's Forge seeking the Soul Shadowstone, but had not yet claimed it. Zephyros revealed our next objective: acquiring the Eternal Flame, gifted by Jarak himself, to enter the Great Forge. Coincidentally, the flame was presently in Stonemantle, transported from Flameguard for the annual Festival of Ash and Ember.

Return to Hearthglen

With divine revelations in hand, the gods returned us to Hearthglen. There, we updated Curator Fael regarding the events beneath the Menagerie. Though sorrowful over lost creatures, she expressed relief that further disappearances had been halted. True to her word, she rewarded our efforts with Legendary Anklets of Alacrity.

Onward to Stonemantle

With our mission in Hearthglen complete and our path set clearly before us, we departed swiftly towards Stonemantle, ready to face whatever challenges the Festival of Ash and Ember might hold.
