Selûnin Character in Aren | World Anvil

Selûnin

Selûnin, based on Selûne of the d&d pantheons, is the goddess of the moon. She represents the cold and ice, and moonlight is considered a sign of her presence. Her form, when she so rarely appears in person, is that of a drow. She is a cool presence; never has she appeared more than distantly amused by anything and at her worst she is absolutely frigid. Her symbol is a crescent moon.

Divine Domains

The Moon, Soft Light, Cold, Air (shared with Roan), Winter, Grace, Dust, and Ice.   Selûnin, goddess of the moon, is responsible for Aren's cold and ice. Much of Rothlia's fresh water supply is held, frozen, within The Great Ice north of the Rhine. Selûnin paints each individual snowflake and every curl of frost with meticulous care. Her paladins and clerics protect creatures from the cold during hard winters, and ensure that plants recieve the proper amounts of cold during the winter months each year so they may properly rest before springtime comes.

Granted Divine Powers

Selûnin grants divine power to her most devout followers, those whom she considers worthy. The following spell lists are to be used in trading out any ill-fitting spells from the Nature Category spell list at the DM's discretion.
