Cyrilan (Sigh-RIH-lahn)
Cyrilan, god of writing and language, is beloved by scholars and linguists. Sometimes he is also worshipped by merchants. He appears as an aarakocra. He is ever interested in the evolution of language and enjoys using modern slang. He is based on Thoth, the Egyptian god of knowledge.
Cyrilan always wears a pair of golden spectacles which often slide down his beak as he reads.

Cyrilan, god of language and education, is in charge of both spoken and written languages, as well as oration, education and mathematics. He often finds followers among scholars and educators, bards, and public speakers. His clerics and paladins are well known for their ongoing attempts to ensure that all of Rothlia's peoples are literate.

Cyrilan grants divine power to those among his followers who are worthy of his gifts. The following spell lists are to be used in trading out any ill-fitting spells from the Knowledge Category spell list at the DM's discretion.Cleric
